Iowa Romance Novelists

Each month we meet on a specific topic. Sometimes we have speakers; other times chapter members present programs, and occastionally we do field trips. The topic and the location is announced prior to the meeting date.

Unless otherwise announced the schedule is as follows:

8:30 AM - IRN Board Meeting

9:00 AM - Social Time, Library Check-Out, and Book for a Buck

9:30 AM - Chapter Business Meeting

10:30 AM - Program (See listing below)

12:30 PM - Optional lunch at nearby restaurant for those who choose to go.

August 15         Report from the Front Lines - RWA National Conference

September 19    Cliche Busting - Tami Wirth & Christine Caudle

October 17        Beats, Tags, and Blurbs - Oscar Nailor

November 21     Body Language - Anita Carter

December          IRN Annual Award Event

Unless otherwise announced we meet at the West Des Moines Community Center which is located at 217 5th Street in Valley Junction.
